Iconic torres (towers)

Parque Nacional Torres del Paine is a worldwide destination for hikers and climbers.

(pronounced “tore-race del pie-nay”)

Don crossing trail bridge.

Los Torres in background…
Apres-hike relaxation under Los Torres.
Mount Fitzroy over Lago Viedma.
Named after the captain of the HMS Beagle in 1830’s. (Not sure what the
Tehuelches call it)
In Parque Nacional Torres del Paine. We watched a park worker put in this sign today in an area adjacent to our campground.

Many international visitors (lots from Europe)….so for this sign they chose English as the most readily understood language… of course, the graphics are pretty much self-explanatory.
