Boat from Puerto Williams

YAGHAN ferry boat. It was late leaving by one day, so we had to change hotel and flight reservations as a result. Huge pain (kinda expensive, too)
Loaded with cars, trucks, construction equipment, etc.
It was a 32 hour voyage through the Beagle Channel, skirting around Tierra del Fuego to Punta Arenas
We had calm waters for only a small fraction of the trip…but it was wonderful.


Usually the wind was blowing and the seas were rough.
 We’re gonna take the beginning of this boat trip and do it easy.
But then we’re gonna do the finish rough,
like we do “Proud Mary”.
