Scouting maps of the Adirondacks a couple months ago for remote places on the “center line” of the eclipse, Oakley located this boat ramp in Raquette River Wild Forest for our wild eclipse viewing pleasure. so we drove up this morning.Even though we were in the middle of nowhere, many more showed up as the eclipse drew nearClouds were wispy and not a problem Oakley watching the moon make its move.Moon covering the sun and blocking all of the sun’s rays. The visible ring is entirely made up of the corona.
