Umbria

A short 2 hour train ride from Rome to Umbria took me to Foligno, where my cousin Martha picked me up at the train station and we drove to Spello.

With Martha and her neighbor in Spello.
Spello is a small medieval hilltop town dating back to the time of the Romans.
Streets mostly for pedestrians, but can you believe cars too?

It’s the olive harvest. We took a fun hike through the hillside olive orchards.
Soon to be Olive Oyl…I mean, olive oil.
