This arch is a remnant of Roman epoch (statues came later).As is this one (the arch only – the rest came later).2,000 year old mosaic floors were found when ground was excavated for a parking lot a number of years ago.Instead of a parking lot a building was constructed to shelter and display the ancient mosaics.Very impressive display!
