From the east I crossed over Rabbit Ears Pass to Steamboat Springs, so it was only natural that I stayed overnight in the namesake motel.Eclectic mountain town. Like many, they have made a nice effort to preserve their historic and distinctive architecture. Sorry no examples…looks like the camera didn’t get out of the pocket of your blogger at the necessary time. Strawberry Hot Springs, not far from town, is an iconic western states hot springs…very nice. Awarded the Discguyhuck sticker of approval.All pools of different temperatureThis is the superheated water straight from the depths that is routed to each of the pools in varying amounts. You wouldn’t want to put your ankle in this water.
