Valdivian Temperate Forest

Also known as the Valdivian Temperate Rain Forest. It dominates the Lake District, the coast, Chiloe, and points south.
It basically rains or snows for 9 months straight, but summer is to die for.

Valdivia is a coastal city named after the Spanish conqueror. He subjugated most of Chile but died a grisly death when the Mapuches defeated him in battle.
