Bosque de Arrayanes

We went to the dock buy tickets on
the boat to the forest. It was about a 45 minute cruise on Lago Nahuel Huapi through Parque Nacional Nahuel Huapi.

(Nahuel Huapi translates from the Mapudungun (Mapuche language) as “Island of the Puma“)

Yerba mate is a huge part of the culture in Argentina, as well as Paraguay, Uruguay, and parts of Chile and Brasil.

There was a walkway easy for geezers and others that wound through the forest. There were also some big Coigue trees forming a canopy.
