Villa La Angostura

It was a gorgeous drive along La Ruta de Los Siete Lagos (Route of the Seven Lakes) to our next stay in Villa La Angostura on Lago Nahuel Huapi, a very large and extensive glacial lake.
Mmm. Dulce de leche ice cream.
If anything is quintessentially
Argentine, it’s dulce de leche!

Looking to buy more coffee we found this shop with the interesting name. He ground the best coffee we could have imagined for our traveling Aeropress coffeemaker.
He recently moved from Buenos Aires
to open the only fresh ground coffee
store in Villa la Angostura.
The relatively small centro was adorned with flowers everywhere accenting the Alpine-Andino style buildings. Check out the European Mountain Ash tree in bloom.
