On the drive south to our next stop in Queilen, Chiloé we were blown away by this clear view of Volcan Chaiten on the Chilean mainland across el Golfo de Corcovado.
(Chaiten erupted in 2008 for the first time in almost 10,000 years. It caused a lot of damage and disruption.)On the seafront there was a new pier as well as a museum and artisan’s market. My favorite Chilean tree – AraucariaWaiting for high tide Letting my freak flag fly.
