The seaside town of Monopoli is on the Adriatic Sea in Puglia.I cannot resist tantalizing dear readers with visions of sugarplums (incredible Italian pastries and sweets). Hmm, looks like there was a bit of a run on these chocolate creations…evidently I’m not the only chocolate freak around! lolMartha and I and the Adriatic.My goal for the day was to find and eat seafood by the sea. Success! I’m a big fan of shellfish. These mussels were so sweet and tender!A desert consisting of a big scoop of gelato chocolato covered with cocoa and powdered sugar. Is this heaven?Here we all are with the deep blue sea! Gorgeous day!
